Accommodation Details

Little River View is a two bedroom semi-detached period cottage originally built in 1882.  It is situated in Horning's famous Lower Street with all village amenities within a couple of minutes walk and has beautiful views of the River Bure.

It was in rather a sorry state of repair when it came into our family but was sympathetically renovated in 1992 and as many period features such as the original sash windows and internal doors as possible retained.  The property is now graded as a four star self catering establishment by the English Tourism Council.

Upstairs, the property has two double bedrooms leading off of the landing area.

Downstairs, the cottage has an entrance lobby, lounge, kitchen/diner and bathroom.

The property is entirely no smoking and unfortunately we are not able to accept pets as guests. 

Additionally, as is the case with most Victorian cottages, the stairs are steeper than those in modern houses and may therefore be unsuitable for the very elderly or infirm (a stairgate is provided free of charge for our very young guests who may see the stairs as a challenge not to be missed!)
