There are so many great things to do in Norfolk that we can only really give a taster of the possibilities.  We've categorised the activities below together with driving distances from Little River View.  In addition, we have placed links to some excellent tourist attraction web sites on our Links page that carry literally hundreds of places to visit with Little River View as a base.

Stately Homes

You're spoilt for choice with magnificent Blickling Hall (14 miles), Houghton Hall (43 miles), Holkham Hall (43 miles) and Sandringham (52 miles) to name just four. 

Beaches

Several beautiful beaches are within an easy drive of Little River View ranging from the lively Great Yarmouth (17 miles) to the rural and unspoilt setting of Holkham (44 miles).  Other examples include California Beach (22 miles), Caister On Sea (14 miles), Cromer (21 miles), Gorleston (21 miles) and Sheringham (25 miles).  Finally, Don't miss the chance to take a boat trip to see the seals at Blakeney (35 miles).

Family Days Out

Our favourites include the Sea Life Centre at Great Yarmouth (17 miles), the Bure Valley Railway, the Wildlife centre at Great Witchingham (32), the Dinosaur Park at Weston Park (20), the Zoo at Banham (30 miles) and of course Pleasure Wood Hills near Lowestoft (26 miles.  Finally, the craft centre at Wroxham Barns (3 miles) is definitely worth a visit.

Relaxing Days Out

The world famous Norfolk Lavender farm at Heacham (49 miles) offers a fascinating day.  The Broads Museum at Stalham (10) gives a history of the traditional ways of working on the Broads and Langham Glass near Holt (25) offers demonstrations of traditional glassware skills together with their "Maize maze" and tearooms.
